City Rep Champion

Summary: Recognizes outstanding achievement by a City Rep in providing valuable ILTA programming at a local level through innovative events, member engagement, collaboration with ILTA presence in the city/area and vendor partnership

Eligibility: Must have been in the role prior to August 2010

Criteria
Describe the following for work within your city/area during the 2010 calendar year:

• Summary of how you championed ILTA
• Unique events within your region and how they fostered education or networking, or promoted ILTA's core values
• The "best" event in your city/area (i.e., attendance levels, value to the attendees, Aha moments, etc.)
• Fostering networking at your events
• Coordination with other ILTA groups (peer groups, other cities, etc.)
• Use of a broad range of ILTA tools and resources (webinars, recorded events, Roadshows, etc.)
• Collaboration with other alliances (such as ALA) or local user groups
• Promotion of events using social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, e-groups, etc.):
  • To ILTA members, encouraging member participation
  • To prospective ILTA members, encouraging event participation, ILTA membership and promoting ILTA value
• An event or communication that leverages the ILTA annual conference experience
• Work with a vendor to get them involved with ILTA and/or have them present a valuable educational or networking event for local members
• Obstacles faced and how you combat them
