In October of 2010, Microsoft announced Office 365, a service that would combine Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync Online with the cloud. Nearly seven years later, many organizations still aren’t clear on exactly what Office 365 is, and more importantly, how it differs from the current shipping version, Office 2016.
