GDPR - One Year To Go

23 May 2017
11:00 - 14:00 BST

Description: GDPR isn't an IT project, but it is coming your way. With less than a year to go, firms are in various stages of compliance preparation, and whilst it is generally recognised that this is a board-level sponsored initiative, there are a number of key tasks that fall on IT. Are you prepared to assist in your firm's compliance efforts?

This must-attend GDPR event is an exclusive opportunity for you to fully assess the impacts of the new regulation, focus on your priorities and benchmark your progress to date. You'll also get some practical learning on data mapping essentials and discover how AI can help you cut the GDPR challenge down to size.

We will take a deep-dive look at key impact areas and examine an effective strategy as we count down to May 2018, and provide an interactive data mapping workshop, the key first step of a data protection impact assessment.

Over lunch, we'll get a demonstration of RAVN's latest AI development, the GDPR robot, which can expedite GDPR compliance through its ability to:
  • Identify documents and other types of data in any business system subject to GDPR rules
  • Enable users to view feeds on the latest personal data that requires attention
  • Expedite requests for information
  • Analyse contracts, agreements and other high-value documents to ensure privacy policy clauses and other relevant obligations are met
Participants will receive a free GDPR checklist spreadsheet.
