Debunking Machine Learning Myths - Case Studies in Contract Review and Analysis

19 June 2017
11:30 - 14:00 BST

Description:
AI and machine learning continue to loom large on the legal landscape but let’s put aside hype and potential for the moment and focus instead on reality and results, right now.

In this extended Lunch and Learn session supported by Kira Systems hear how three very different firms – Freshfields, Mishcon de Reya, and Kemp Little – have gotten their respective ideas off the drawing board and into practice, as they bid to accelerate and improve the accuracy of their contract review and analysis projects.

Then explore some of the themes, issues and questions arising with the presenters and your peers in a roundtable discussion moderated by Richard Tromans of Artificial Lawyer

This event will strive to provide an understanding of:

  • Machine learning as applied to contract review & analysis
  • How to identify appropriate use cases
  • Effective approaches to gain business buy-in
  • Strategies for managing the people and process parts of the rollout/adoption equation, in addition to the technology
  • Potential pitfalls, practical challenges and routes to success
  • Anticipated benefits and returns
