Program Planning Council

Summary: The Program Planning Council is an appointed team of ILTA members responsible for delivering ILTA's programming framework. The Council comprises subject-matter experts and thought leaders in various areas of disciplines, representatives from our conference planning teams and representatives who focus on our law firm and law department members' needs at local and international levels.

Term: One year

Compensation: ILTA volunteer leaders do not receive compensation for their services but may be reimbursed for expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Execute ILTA's strategic goal of member engagement through the premiership of programming for ILTACON
  • Develop the Programming Framework
  • Actively participate in meetings and calls with the Council and other ILTA teams
  • Coach and mentor ILTA volunteer leaders and team members
  • Embrace an agile, nimble and flexible approach to programming
  • Exhibit a positive communication style in person, on the phone and through email messages with Council members, other volunteer leaders and staff
  • Serve as an ambassador for ILTA

  • Deep knowledge/experience of technology in the legal profession
