Relationship Coordinating Team

Summary: The Relationship Coordinating Team selects and mentors volunteers that focus on supporting and meeting the needs of our members at a local level (both firm and law department members). They also help foster the relationship members have with the association.

Term: One year, renewable subject to annual interview/approval

Compensation: ILTA volunteer leaders do not receive compensation for their services but may be reimbursed for expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support Member Liaisons
  • Collaborate with Content Coordinating Teams to ensure educational programming is developed for use at local meetings and is developed to our law department audience (both local and virtual opportunities)
  • Work with team members to monitor and evaluate member base and identify cities/areas where local law firm or corporate Member Liaison representation should be modified
  • Work with team members to identify opportunities for local programming and/or programming for the law department audience; recruit project teams to execute the programming deliverables
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for individual Member Liaisons to participate on content project teams to develop local programming deliverables
  • Work with ILTA staff and Member Liaisons to review and support onboarding processes for new participants and member entities
  • Provide programming feedback from members to the Program Planning Council
  • Participate in Relationship Coordinating Team meetings (one in-person meeting) and monthly phone calls
  • Participate in regularly scheduled administrative calls with Member Liaisons and other ad hoc calls as needed
  • Support the ILTA staff who lead the Member Liaisons and project teams to facilitate the highest level of networking and educational opportunities
  • Serve as an ambassador for ILTA

Qualifications:

Objective Criteria:

  • Current ILTA member
  • Prior service as a Member Liaison
  • Willingness to commit time required (4-8 hours per month)
  • Willingness to accept direction from the volunteer leadership and ILTA staff as required
  • Willingness at all times to act as a reflection of ILTA's core values
