For those of you running pfSense as your firewall, IPS, IDS (yes, it does all of those things), a new release is on the horizon.  WOOT WOOT!!!

Chris Buechler, co-founder of pfSense has announced that the 2.1.1-PRERELEASE is available at snapshots.pfsense.org and the list of changes since the 2.1-RELEASE can be found HERE.

For those of you that do NOT use pfSense, I encourage you to give it a look-see.  This is an enterprise-class firewall that is completely scalable to any size environment.

My apologies for the delay in answering. Yes, I use Untangle as well, albeit behind pfSense. I use Untangle for website blocking and threat management. Great product!

Have you had any experience with Untangle for those functions and if so how does it compare?
