Hi everyone,
We understand that despite best efforts, not all relevant parties on matters get searched and added to the conflicts database.
We do our best to audit matters to identify these parties but have yet to land on an efficient process to identify matters to audit where this has most likely happened. We feel like we could throw a dart at our various systems and find something.
What policies and procedures do your firms have in place to do this type of back tracing/auditing, and what criteria do you go by?
