Greetings:  We are in the process of migrating to a new Intake and Conflicts product and as part of the move we are evaluating whether to continue using Dun & Bradstreet for our corporate tree and corporate data source or potentially switch to the S&P CapIQ product.  We have heard the products are roughly similar but some have said that D&B is wider (more likely to get a hit and tree data) while S&P is deeper (number of data points beyond corporate tree is greater).  From a purely Intake and Conflicts standpoint (excluding integrations into marketing/prospecting systems, etc.), here a few questions:

    1. Do you use D&B, S&P, or another source?
    2. If you use S&P, did you use D&B prior to that?
    3. If you did switch to S&P, have you found the quality and volume of information to be at least equal to D&B or better?
    4. For those who have experience with both, have you found a meaningful difference between the two?

We are looking at this as well. I'd be interested to hear if there are responses or if you've found out anything further.
