Knowledge Management Toolkit - Then, Now and What's Next

Cost: $15
Pay at the door; cheques payable to Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP.

Lunch will be provided.

Description:
We'll begin by viewing a prerecorded ILTA presentation on the evolution of the knowledge management (KM) toolkit, followed by a roundtable discussion on the topic.

Originally conceived as an internal initiative to promote the reuse of best-practice legal content, KM is now regarded as key to driving a firm's commercial success. Clients are keen to form strategic partnerships with law firms and benefit from the KM tools firms develop. Looking to the future, technology and innovation will continue to disrupt the legal industry in critical ways, and the KM toolkit will evolve to adapt to this new normal.

Due to space restrictions, attendance is limited to the first 12 people who register.

Presentation Speaker:
Sukesh Kamra
is a lawyer and the National Director of Knowledge Management for Canada and Latin America at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP. He leads the firm's knowledge management initiative and is responsible for creating and implementing a national knowledge management strategy and action plan to work smarter and more efficiently, leverage knowledge technologies to eliminate waste and control legal costs, and provide clients with innovative legal products and solutions to address specific risk.
