St. Louis: Security Is a Layered Approach, Starting with Pen Testing

When:  Feb 5, 2019 from 12:00 to 13:30 (CT)

Description

Everyone always wants to talk about cybersecurity like it is an onion, with many layers to be peeled back. If we are being honest with ourselves, we know nobody really wants to take a big bite out of an onion. Why? All you get is more onion! We see cybersecurity as a tootsie roll pop - can the attackers get to your sweet data in the center? In this presentation, we'll discuss how your firm should implement a layered security model to protect its data.

We will review the "10 layers of protection" you should have around your data with practical, real-world examples of what you should implement and why it's important to you and your clients.

* Validated parking available for the Seventh Street Garage, located between Locust and Washington Ave. Please take the skywalk on Level 2 (the main level) of the garage into the US Bank Building. From the lobby, you will be directed to the correct elevator bank; proceed to the 36th floor.
