Toronto: Attacking Offensively for Defense - Connecting the Machines

When:  Oct 17, 2019 from 12:00 to 13:30 (ET)

Description

This is the age of large data structures, machine learning and advanced applications of statistics. The application of these technologies provide a potential level of complexity that can be difficult to imagine and implement due to the ability to expand into a myriad of potential uses. In this session we will explore:

  • The functionality of these types of systems
  • Current efforts to integrate stand-alone security technologies into the broader communicating platforms that can provide higher levels of defense
  • Summary of cybercriminal uses of these technologies

We will also discuss the ability to use advanced technologies to predict attacks from specific threat actor groups.
