Who hasn't fantasized about working remotely while stuck in traffic or trying to coordinate the kids' complex sports schedules? If your work is digital, coming into the office can feel like another time suck guaranteed to negatively impact your productivity on days when your schedule is already overfilled. Companies that support remote work report higher levels of employee retention and engagement, as well as significant cost savings. Remote workers report better work/life balance, can work in their pajamas and find many other benefits. But is it really a good fit for you?

In this virtual roundtable, legal professionals who work remotely will share perspectives from the trenches. Speakers

Christina Anderson is an eDiscovery Project Manager at Holland & Knight, working with legal teams to provide in-depth consulting on issues and assist in managing the life cycle using appropriate litigation technology. Christina is a Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA), and is responsible for marketing, promoting, training and offering technical assistance on Relativity and other internal and external litigation software programs.

Tonia Corwin recently joined Fenwick & West's knowledge and innovation delivery department, after 25 years as a paralegal. As a KID Analyst, Tonia works in collaboration with litigation practice leadership and other operational departments to optimize client service by driving efficiency through process improvement, development of technology solutions, promotion of change management and the elimination of barriers to knowledge.

Bethany DeRuiter, PMP, is a Project Manager in the resource management department at Morrison & Foerster LLP. She is responsible for documenting workflows, guidelines and continuous improvement strategies for the firm's managed services environment. Bethany is passionate about discovering new ways to identify and implement project management principles and techniques into the firm's litigation support practices.

Janice Jaco is a Senior eDiscovery Project Manager for boutique litigation powerhouse Keesal, Young & Logan. She worked at the firm's Long Beach office for 20 years before moving to Arkansas, where she continues to work for KYL remotely, helping support teams in all firm offices with and other big data projects. Janice is a member of ILTA's Litigation & Practice Support Content Team and was named ACEDS 2015 eDiscovery Person of the Year.
