New York City: Anatomy of a Breach

When:  Nov 27, 2018 from 12:00 to 13:30 (ET)

Description

While the continuing onslaught of data breaches in legal firms is well documented, what is far less understood is why data breaches happen and what can be done to prevent them. This presentation examines the three most common sources of data breaches well-meaning insiders, targeted attacks from outside the organization, and malicious insiders and illustrates how each source gains access to the network, finds and then exposes sensitive information. It also offers a broad perspective on what can be done to stop data breaches, and specific recommendations to take preventive action. This presentation also offers a unique viewpoint on data breaches based on legal industry-leading security expertise and broad experience in helping our clients protect their sensitive information.

* Attendees are required to show photo ID at the security desk in the building lobby.
