ILTA Cybersecurity Awareness Discussion - Part 2

When:  Oct 29, 2020 from 14:00 to 15:00 (ET)

Description

Join Jon Washburn and Matt McKinley as they continue the conversation from earlier this month and expand upon various cybersecurity controls, procedures and behaviors that can help establish a “zero trust” and “least privilege” architecture at your firm. Topics will include:

  • Zero trust philosophy beyond network access
  • Getting buy-in to move from the castle/moat philosophy (“everyone inside the firm gets access to everything”) to a need to know philosophy
  • OECD privacy principles and why they matter for DMS access, file shares, email, local disk, etc. (can you trust people to be individual custodians?)
  • Authorization, access and accountability

Session Leaders
