Join us to learn about the tools hackers use to compromise WordPress websites. Participants are encouraged to participate by having VirtualBox, Kali Linux and the vulnerable Quaoar virtual machine (available on Vulnhub.com) installed.

Speakers

Paul Wilch is the Information Systems and Litigation Support Supervisor at Hawley Troxell. He has over 20 years of IT experience in the semiconductor industry in positions such as chiller technician and supervisory controls and data acquisition (SCADA) engineer. Paul is also the founder of Project7, a monthly hands-on hacking workshop held to learn about cybersecurity and build a solid network of cybersecurity professionals.

Brian Johnson is the President of 7 Minute Security, specializing in security assessments, penetration testing, and training. He is passionate about teaching others about security and hosts a weekly blog/podcast to help consumers and businesses strengthen their security postures. Brian has contributed three articles to ILTA, and at ILTACON 2017 he presented a session called Blue Team on a Budget, which focused on helping companies defend their networks with free tools.
