At ILTACON 2019, the EA Community was pleased to release "LawScape: The Law Firm Capability Reference Model". A capability model is a great way to link firm strategy to action and is a foundational component of EA programs. The model includes over 400 specific capabilities and is released for public comment to member firms, vendors and other parties. It is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.
This is an ‘encore’ webinar of the session given at ILTACON 2019. We will explain what a capabilities model is and how it surpasses lists of applications for managing your firm’s architecture. It will also provide great examples of ways to use this model immediately firm to manage your technology portfolio, evaluate strengths and weakness in your systems and organizations, and make decisions on where to focus resources.
