During this session of Ripped from the Headlines virtual roundtable we will discuss:
The well-being of lawyers and administrative professionals - In recent years, law firms, corporate legal departments, and legal associations have become increasingly concerned with lawyers' mental health. Since its September 2018 launch, over 150 organizations have signed the ABA's Seven-Point Well-Being Pledge which seeks to reduce depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, other mental health disorders, and drug and alcohol abuse, through a variety of efforts. In addition, ALM/Law.com has launched a Mind Over Matters website to examine mental health in the legal profession through articles and podcasts, and to compile leading resources.
And the Mansfield 3.0 Rule on Diversity and Inclusion - Over 100 law firms have signed on to Diversity Lab's Mansfield Rule on Diversity & Inclusion 3.0, promising to consider that governance and leadership roles are comprised of at least 30% diverse lawyers.
