Description
Personal client information held by legal professionals is extremely valuable to cyber criminals and must be protected at all costs. Technology alone cannot protect you from a cyber breach, so it is important that law firms understand the importance of establishing and practicing their incident response (IR) plan regularly.
This workshop will demonstrate how to effectively develop an IR plan, how to navigate through a real-life breach example and the mitigation of future risk. You'll see an incident response in action, and get a full recap of an actual breach on the network and a step-by-step guide on how to effectively respond to it. We will cover:
- Key considerations and factors
- Who to notify and in what order
- What communication channel to use
- How the media plays a part
- Documents that should be readily available to streamline an investigation
