Agenda:
Keynote: Building Powerful Partnerships Between CIOs and IG Professionals:
Effective information governance in today’s fast-paced digital era demands collaboration at the highest level. We will highlight the critical partnership between CIOs and IG professionals—a collaboration that drives innovation, secures sensitive data, and ensures organizational resilience in the face of evolving challenges.
CIOs bring the expertise needed to implement cutting-edge technology solutions, while IG professionals ensure these solutions align with compliance standards, data protection, and organizational policies.
Learn from our panel’s first-hand experiences on how harnessing the strengths of both roles can deliver tangible results for your organization.
Panelists: Tony McKenna, Paige Schalnger, Gaia Bellone, Ravi Malick and Jim Merrifield
Panel: Understanding the Impact of AI on Information Governance
The session will cover general definitions of what AI is (and is not), focusing on private cloud implementation. The panel will discuss questions to ask when applying IG principles to the use of AI along the various facets of the IG wagon wheel, including retention, matter mobility, lifecycle management, compliance guidelines (both legislative and client-driven) and more. The session will also examine the various teams that may ‘own’ AI, and the potential impacts of AI technology on data usage and organizational policy concerns.
Panelist: Michele Gossmeyer, Brian Donato, Jessica Marlette and Leigh Zidwick
Workshop: A Roadmap to Achieving Integrated Information Governance in Your Firm
In our closing session, we will explore ARMA’s Information Governance Implementation Model (IGIM) as a framework for connecting your firm’s key stakeholders of IG. The IGIM helps bring a common understanding and unified implementation that bridges policy and technology across eight critical areas. Our expert will guide attendees through how to utilize the IGIM as a tool to assess overall IG program maturity and identify the next steps in your firm’s journey to better governance.
