ILTA Europe - Projects & Business Analysis SIG Meeting - 16th July 2024

When:  Jul 16, 2024 from 17:30 to 19:30 (UTC)

In association with our sponsor, Cnnect, we would like to invite you to our next hybrid Projects & Business Analysis Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting, moderated by your ILTA Special Interest Group Steering Committee

This time we will be discussing Application Development with our speaker Cristian Rotundu, Consultant at Silversky Consulting. Cristian will be touching on the positive impact low-code platforms, such as Mendix, can have on the legal industry and how they can transform service delivery for your clients. He'll be showcasing some examples of applications he's built with various teams that customers—and their clients—are using today as well as discussing the journey to building this capability and successfully delivering applications, covering aspects from resourcing and team assembly to discovery and requirements gathering, as well as maintaining stakeholder engagement through UAT. While the application production process can be challenging, the right people, experience, and insights can produce real value.

Following Cristian we will hear from our second speaker, Toseef Fayaz, Senior Technical Trainer at Dechert LLP, where AI and innovation play a key role in the business. Toseef will showcase some of the tools built in-house that are currently being used at Dechert LLP, along with considerations you should make when thinking of implementation, and practical steps on how you can get started to innovate, streamline workflow and improve efficiency.

As with all of our SIG meetings, we ask the forum to contribute to the conversation by sharing their experiences and challenges to date. Following the meeting, for those attending in person, there will be a chance to continue the conversation and meet new friends with a drinks reception.
