Do Firms Forget to ‘Sweat the Small Stuff’ When It Comes to Solving Business Problems?

When:  Jan 30, 2019 from 11:00 to 12:00 (BST)

Description

Could improving your existing systems be the key to solving day-to-day issues?

Sweating the small stuff is a counter-proverb to the traditional ‘don’t sweat the small stuff.’ It’s key teaching? Focus on the small picture if you want the bigger picture to succeed. When it comes to legal technology, sweating the small stuff is a reminder that some tools have been around for a long time for a reason. It advocates bringing the focus back to the tasks that cross the desks of lawyers every day of the week so that the work can be done as efficiently as possible.

Not sure how to sweat the small stuff? During this webinar, you will consider the following:

  • Has my current vendor added more features and functionality to their solutions which may be useful to me? Am I taking advantage of these?
  • Has my firm kept up to date with the latest product versions? If the vendors are innovating this, in turn, means we as a firm are innovating.
  • What about staff training? Would user adoption be higher if we showed our staff a different way of working with the technology?
  • Have our business-critical products kept up to date with our other systems, including Windows 10 or our document management system?

Don’t add new software to solve old problems. Sweat the small stuff instead and see and business processes change for the better.
