In this webinar, we will provide insight into how two multi-office and multi-practice law firms measure the internal profitability of their clients and and the tools they use to best capture and report this data. The discussion will include the pros and cons they experience day to day, advice and guidance on shopping for and migrating to new software and handling data spread across multiple niche systems.

Speakers

Angie Filla is the Lead Pricing Analyst with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner's practice economics group, whose mission is to optimize processes, legal spend, knowledge retention and use of technology in the delivery of legal services. Angie supports the firm across all its global offices by providing statistical analysis and data analytics to respond to clients' RFPs, requests for alternative fee pricing and matter budgeting, as well as internal reporting to support BCLP's C-Suite and practice area leaders. While her primary focus is on the firm's transactional practice, she is multi-disciplined in real estate and litigation matters. With the firm for over 30 years, Angie has served in her current role since the practice economics group's inception in 2011.

Dan Pratt, the Manager of Financial Systems at Fish & Richardson, is a technology solutions strategist with over 10 years of law firm experience. He oversees the implementation, testing maintenance of the systems, procedures and report generation processes that support firm finance and accounting functions. Dan serves as lead liaison and business consultant with firm management to ensure existing interdepartmental workflows involving finance and accounting are performing at targeted service levels, and are managed in a way that facilitates involvement of the CFO's departments. Previously, he was a business solutions architect in the firm's IT department. Dan volunteers with several local organizations, including the Boston Debate League.
