Understanding how we think and perceive the world is an essential first step in creating sustainable change. This virtual workshop, presented by Step Up: Equity Matters, offers an understanding of how biases shape our views of the people around us and how these biases can lead to inequities in organizations. Participants will take time to reflect on their inner biases to learn how to find their own sweet spot of influence to make a real difference. This is an interactive workshop with a mix of presentations, small group discussions, and personal reflection.

Fostering diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the ILTA community.ILTA has defined diversity as celebrating the differences that exist among people and the unique combination of differences that makes us who we are and affects how we experience life. In adopting this definition, ILTA understands that myriad opportunities to improve and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion exist throughout the ILTA community; trying to address all at once would be impossible.
