As the Director of Customer Experience, Ed Empamano oversees niche front end engineering, service desk, training, audio video, and other end user aspects of technology at Perkins Coie LLP. He provides oversight and strategy to technical, and non-technical groups to improve service, process, and interactions with firm technology.
Ed began his 20 year technology career at the “Big Four” in a client facing technology and risk management capacity. He has also held management roles in Fortune 500 organizations before entering legal that span development, sales technology, support, and operations. Over the past decade, he has held Director level positions at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Sidley Austin LLP, and Novus Law before joining Perkins Coie LLP. During this time, he has managed several multi-year transformational initiatives including, software and OS deployments, business intake, discovery process and review enhancements, as well as client matter collaboration portals. These initiatives resulted in a Lean Six Sigma “green belt”, as well as earning ISO 27001 certification for an organization.
Ed received both his Undergraduate degree in Commerce, and Master degree in Business Information Technology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
