Dearest ILTAns!

Wait a second? Didn’t we just speak a few weeks ago? Yes, we did! However, we had soooo much great content submitted for our Summer P2P that we had to spread it over two issues – one print and one digital. What an embarrassment of content riches! Anyway, I am always happy for any opportunity to speak with ILTAns!

Dearest ILTANs!

Happy Summer! In just two short months, many of us will be together in Orlando at ILTACON 2019. Looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and meeting lots of new folks! My last CEO column was devoted to “firsts” (with a smattering of servant leadership thrown in for good measure). Well, it turns out that you haven’t heard the last of firsts (yes, I hear you groaning.

The Summer Issue Part 1 Is Now Available!

For the 2019 Summer issue of Peer to Peer, the extended ILTA family submitted so many quality articles and supplemental materials that the Summer issue has been split into two. Publishing in late June, Part 1 is available here and Part 2 will publish in late July. The second half of the Summer issue will have even more articles, features, columns, and upcoming ILTA event information.

What Went Wrong

Welcome to the Summer edition the ILTA podcast “What Went Wrong”. Often, we hear that the mistakes are what make us learn the most; during this podcast series we will find out what should have happened, what actually happened, and then dive into lessons learned. Knowing that hard work often breeds success, we want to know how a “What Went Wrong” moment changed the course of a career, an idea, or a life.

EPISODE #1

Getting a Seat at the Table

The late, great Shirley Chisholm said “If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” It is with this in mind that ILTA Publications takes aim at boardroom tables everywhere and asks: What seat would you pull up to the table? Our first chair to table guest is Laurie Pierre, Information Security Analyst at McCarter & English, LLP. Today, Laurie sits down with ILTA Senior Content Manager Beth Anne Stuebe and talks about her chair, who else is at the table, and so much more.

3 Tasks Your Firm Couldn’t Handle Before Practical AI

Though only 10 percent of law firms currently say they are using AI, many are starting to catch on that AI – or at least practical AI solutions – can transform the way they work for the better. Contribute to our publications

One of ILTA's most valued resources is our volunteer authors — knowledgeable and experienced professionals from our member and vendor communities. It's the wealth of educational content that comes from folks in the trenches that is so valuable to our readers; and we are grateful to our authors for sharing the information and experience they've acquired.
