ILTA 2013 Technology Survey

12-03-2013 09:14

With great excitement, we're pleased to announce the final report from our 2013 Technology Survey. We’ve published in Acrobat again this year, optimizing the format for your tablet, laptop and desktop screens. The 2013 Technology Survey reports the input of 494 firms representing more than 88,000 attorneys and 189,000 total users.

After the PDF opens in your Web browser, you are advised to save it and view it locally in Acrobat. You’ll find easily accessible information at your fingertips, including a feature that allows you to toggle between the aggregate data graphs and charts by firm size. While the format is not designed to print in its entirety, you can use Adobe tools to assist in sizing the publication for optimal viewing, searching, navigating and printing.

This publication provides timely, relevant data from almost 500 ILTA law firms; it trends data across four years; it’s undergone a rigorous review and editorial process; and I’m hopeful the content is of great value to you.

It is clear from this year’s survey that firms continue to balance competing priorities, most notable is the challenge of implementing information governance vs. allowing individuals the freedom of choice. Firms are approaching the balancing act from various angles, and their responses reflect that throughout questions related to the cloud, mobile devices, remote access and more. Many thanks to all who participated!

Hi Betsy, for that question, NSI Autostore represented less than 1% and thus was not charted but I have counted 5 firms who listed it. Due to our confidentiality promises, I can't share who responded but I hope it helps to know there certainly are some ILTA member firms using it.

Is it possible to find out what programs constituted the "other" category for workflow solutions? I am specifically looking for information on NSI Autostore and how many firms might be using it.
