Design Checker
There may be times in Publisher 2007, when you insert a clip art graphic it relocates some of your text onto another page or a different area of the current page. The worst part may be that you are working so diligently on picking the perfect color scheme and figuring out how to print double-sided with your printer that you do not realize that some of the text has moved clear off the page or is hiding behind a picture.
The solution is the Design Checker. The Design Checker will scan your publication for problems such as objects that have moved partially off a page, text that does not fit into its text box or a disproportionate image.
To use the Design Checker, open the publication, go to the Tools menu and click Design Checker. If it finds any potential errors, they will appear in the task pane. Click the dropdown arrow next to a possible error. Some problems will have an automatic fix option, while others will only let you manually fix the error. Some you have done on purpose (making a graphic stretched, etc.). In any case, you have quickly and easily averted impending publishing oversight!
