Stuart Kay is Director, Global Business Systems, for Baker & McKenzie, based in Chicago.  Before moving to Chicago he was the Head of Knowledge for the firm?s Australian offices.  Stuart commenced his career as a lawyer in private practice.  He then spent several years in policy and senior management roles in government before returning to the legal profession to work in KM and IT.  Stuart is a member of the ILTA KM Peer Group Steering Committee.  He has spoken at numerous conferences in Australia, Asia, the U.S. and the U.K., and has lectured in KM at the University of Melbourne.

John Gillies is the Director of Practice Support at Cassels Brock & Blackwell in Toronto. In this role, he collaborates with all firm members with a view to enhancing the culture of knowledge sharing through building appropriate organizational and technical structures to facilitate knowledge sharing. He has spoken at numerous Canadian and American conferences on knowledge management issues, including Ark, ILTA and KM World.

Wendy Small is Head of Knowledge Management for the international law firm, Eversheds LLP. Originally graduating in Information Management, Wendy went on to study law at Nottingham law school. She has worked in the legal sector for 18 years, taking on the role of Head of Information Services for Eversheds in 2004, working with a team of 35 information professionals. Wendy is also a regular guest speaker at the University of Sheffield where she teaches post-graduate students in Information Management on KM and marketing related topics. She has also delivered lectures at the College of Law for LPC students on legal research and KM in law firms.
