Project Management Executive Boot Camp

 

Managers wear a variety of hats in the legal technology world:  manage people, systems, vendors and "other duties as assigned."  This latter category of hats often includes managing projects which can be the most daunting challenge of all. Professional project managers have developed a comprehensive vocabulary and set of techniques to successfully manage projects that deliver value on time and within budget. During this session, your peers will arm you with the critical PM tools that will empower you to face your project management challenges with confidence so you can get back to your other hats.

Scott David - PMO Manager, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP
Scott joined Vorys in 2001. Prior to entering the legal industry, he spent seven years in the consulting industry as lead consultant and project manager specializing in networking systems. In 2006, he opened a project management office at Vorys and continues to manage it today. He is a steering committee member of ILTA's Project Management Peer Group. Scott holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification 

Bill Decker - IT Project Manager, Bingham McCutchen
Bill has more than 20 years experience as a business analyst/project manager, the majority within the financial industry and the last four years in legal. He manages three business analysts with focus on process innovation and application development utilizing the Agile methodology. Bill is also in the process of formalizing a PMO.
