In the last two years, the term "cloud computing" has infiltrated the mainstream press. More and more businesses are embracing this way of thinking about information technology. As such, the legal world has awoken to the myriad of challenges of cloud computing. During this session Mr. Andrew Cosgrove Esq. of Nixon Peabody's Information Law practice will discuss the realities of cloud computing and the issues surrounding the discovery of electronic documents from companies who use cloud computing in their business.

Andrew Cosgrove is a Sr. Associate with Nixon Peabody?s Information Law practice. Andrew has extensive experience with electronic discovery matters, advising clients on international and domestic information privacy, and information security issues, including cross-border data transfers for U.S.-based litigation. He also represents clients on complex litigation matters including commercial disputes, intellectual property matters, employment law, products liability, and class actions.
John Roman is the Director of Legal Technology Services/Information Law at Nixon Peabody. He provide general management responsibilities to a team of 12 legal technology consultants firm-wide. He has 26 years of experience in information technology professional services and has held various professional service-related management and consulting positions throughout his career.
John currently provides counsel and expertise to Nixon Peabody clients in terms of data privacy and security, data breach response, and eDiscovery project management.
