At the bottom of this dialog box you will see

PLEASE leave it on this option – if you check the New….  It will update the form/template of the document you are using with YOUR additional styles…. If you want your styles to be available for others on that form – please contact the Help Desk, and they can help you with that.

So back to the bottom of the Styles Box.

  • If you click on Show Preview you will see in that box HOW each style will look when you apply it.
  • If you click on Disable Linked Styles it will disable linked styles – which is NOT good if you are using NUMBERED paragraphs…. So leave unchecked.

The icon on the far right can be used to MANGE your styles as described for the Options, and even MODIFY your styles.

At the bottom of Manage Styles is the Import/Export styles feature which you can use to add styles from your Normal to the current document.
