I serve as TruShield Security Solutions' Chief Revenue Officer and General Counsel. In addition to my duties at TruShield, I am the President of the Midwest Cybersecurity Alliance, a non-profit, nonpartisan collaboration of individuals, businesses, government entities, and professional firms advocating for more effective cyber security solutions.
I have also served as Vice President of Commercial Services for Delta Risk LLC, where I advised my clients in multiple commercial industries, including healthcare, legal, insurance, and retail, on cyber risk mitigation and management. I facilitated cyber risk assessments and cyber breach exercises for my clients, focusing on incident response preparedness. I also served as a breach coach during cyber events, working as an internal crisis manager and liaison with outside counsel, insurance carriers, and public relations firms to effectively terminate and remediate the breach incident, while protecting my clients' brands and reputations.
Prior to joining Delta Risk, I was a partner in LeClairRyan’s Intellectual Property and Technology Group, heading the Firm’s Data Privacy and Security practice where I represented healthcare organizations, retailers, and financial institutions with electronic data protection.
I graduated from the Syracuse University College of Law, and began my legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Circuit Court of Arlington County, Virginia.
