Tim Clauss has over 12 years of highly technical experience implementing and enhancing Information Governance Programs in Law Firms. Tim has been the project and technical lead on hundreds of records and conflicts system projects, including new software implementations, data migrations, system upgrades, and firm mergers. Tim has the capability to dive deeply into system data, and explain the results to non-technical system users.

Tim Clauss also has a long history of developing enterprise software to extend Information Governance adoption and execution. He is a skilled developer in a variety of programming languages such as SQL, XML/XSL, C#, Visual Basic, HTML, and JavaScript. He has long been interested helping clients get the most from their significant investment in Information Governance solutions, and is a leader in the field of broad application of retention policy across disparate information repositories.

Karen Frazier has 26+ years of experience in the legal industry both working directly for law firms and as a vendor for legal RIM/IG solutions. Prior to joining InOutsource, Karen worked with Epiq as a Senior RIM/IG Consultant providing subject matter expertise to Records managed services engagements as well as technical consulting in support of RIM/IG programs. She also worked with Revolution Software, developing and performing client implementations of REMOVE (now FileTrail Governance), a records disposition workflow application.

Karen has extensive experience with client engagements creating RIM/IG policies and retention schedules, migrations between Records systems, modifying and enhancing existing Records applications, and creating custom solutions in support of RIM/IG programs.
Prior to Revolution Software, she worked 12 years with Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn (now Ice Miller) and 4 years with Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff.

Nicholas Burge resides in Austin, TX and is the Director of Professional Services at FileTrail. He started his 11-year career as a Records Management professional in the Energy-sector in Houston and eventually transitioned to Software Implementation in 2017 for the leading provider of information governance and records management solutions. Prior to joining FileTrail, Nick worked as a Records Supervisor and Systems Analyst at Hilcorp, a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company.

Since joining FileTrail in 2017, Nick has been instrumental in driving the company’s professional services initiatives, overseeing the implementation of key clients to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction while adhering to Information Governance best-practices. He has worked closely with a range of clients across industries including legal, pharmaceuticals, energy, and financial services, to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs.
