Vancouver: Ediscovery in Canadian Civil Litigation

Crystal O'Donnell, CEO and Senior Counsel of Heuristica Discovery Counsel, is the Chair of a Uniform Law Conference of Canada working group for Uniform Electronic Document Rules. The ULCC project is a proposed harmonized set of civil procedure rules for electronic documents in civil proceedings in all jurisdictions. Crystal will discuss the policy decisions for the project and the role of the ULCC, the key features of the proposed Rule, and the next phases to implement the proposed harmonized Rule across Canada.
