PURPOSE:
ILTACON is the premier educational and networking event for the legal sector. Drawing on the personal and collective strengths of law firm and law department professionals, ILTACON is the best place to learn what works, what doesn't and what’s next in legal technology. Topic experts deliver examples, inspiration and takeaways through a variety of session formats that can be applied to the challenges and opportunities you face within your team, your organization and the industry. This event features extensive networking opportunities and educational content inspired by and developed by peers, with a volunteer planning committee that works collaboratively with peers, business partners and experts to ensure each session provides value to a variety of professional roles.
ROLE:
ILTACON session coordinators are passionate about developing memorable conference sessions and experiences. Session coordinators will help develop the educational program within ILTA's programming framework, working in small teams to develop sessions for specific audience groups or areas of focus.
Each session coordinator will have responsibility for producing approximately 2-3 educational sessions through initial idea creation and reviewing ideas that have been submitted by others; participation in the development of takeaways, learning objectives, delivery formats, speaker profiles; recruitment and interviewing of speakers and facilitators, managing the development of session formats and content with speakers and facilitators. Session coordinators are expected to briefly introduce and monitor each of their sessions, either in-person or virtually. They will also support their team in all activities, including session development. Serving as a session coordinator is a great opportunity to create close connections with peers, develop leadership and project management skills, and increase substantive knowledge of legal technology!
