I am the Director for Knowledge Management (Litigation) at Goodwin. I help litigators find and leverage various kinds of information about previous matters and work through knowledge management, business intelligence, and data analytics. I also coach staff and attorneys on efficiently finding and storing case-related information. I also evaluate potential new technology of use to the Litigation Department (though not e-discovery). Before joining Goodwin, I practiced commercial litigation in Boston for eight years. I earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and undergraduate degrees from Oberlin College.
I've volunteered with ILTA in many different roles, including service on the Knowledge Management Peer Group (where I helped found the ILTA KM Blog) and on ILTACON. I served as co-chair of ILTACON in 2018 and 2019.
