Tanya Pereira is the e-Discovery and Information Governance Coordinator in the Litigation Group at Cassels and is an integral member of the firm’s e-Discovery team. Her role involves department project management and serving as a central resource for clients and internal stakeholders. Tanya is responsible for orchestrating the daily activities associated with providing e-Discovery support to clients and utilizing various technologies to drive results for client satisfaction.
Tanya has a solid understanding in all areas of the e-Discovery project life-cycle including collections, data management and efficient record keeping of sensitive client information. In addition to working closely with management, Tanya is known for her ability to execute the group’s mandates, establishing a rapport with vendors, liaising with clients and their IT, and leveraging her expertise to guide parties towards achieving solutions to even the most complex matters. Additionally, she frequently drafts user guides for both client and internal use.
With a background in administration and a natural problem-solver, Tanya provides a wide range of support to both internal and external clients with respect to best practices and ensuring deliverables are met in the most accurate and efficient manner. She makes continuing education and professional development a priority through courses and self-education.
