Chicago: Docketing as Knowledge Management - Increase the Value of Docketing

When:  Jun 26, 2019 from 12:00 to 13:30 (CT)

Description

During this lunch and learn, we will explore how to increase the value of your case management system as a source of knowledge management and business development. Firms have long invested in docketing teams, centralized or distributed, to reduce the risk of missing deadlines and to record filings. Docketing systems can be further used to enhance knowledge management and other functions within the firm.

In this session, we will discuss these topics and more:

  • What is a docketing/case management solution?
  • How can it be set up to automatically capture information from the courts, (e.g., documents and deadlines and case details) and automatically capture information from internal resources, such as accounting, human resources and conflicts
  • How to properly address the primary goal of risk management while building up an experienced database useful for knowledge management and business development

Attendees must check in with security in the lobby.
