Several conference speakers and members from the Portland ILTA community will be sharing their experiences from LegalSEC18 and ILTACON18. If you couldn't attend, this is a great chance to learn from those who did! Join us to hear from attendees, conference speakers and a local ILTA Business Partner on their experiences and takeaways from the events, share what you've learned from past conferences and discover why you should attend next year.

Speakers

Amy Monaghan was a speaker at the Serving Up Tools Clients Really Want session. As the Practice Innovations Manager at Perkins Coie, Amy works side-by-side with practice groups and clients to implement and further KM initiatives, particularly those involving advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, document assembly, logical reasoning systems, workflow tools and contract analysis tools. Previously, she was in a similar role at Chapman and Cutler LLP.

Ray Phillips is from an ILTA Business Partner that exhibited in the vendor hall. He is the Director of Sales & Operations for Systems Auditing, a Copitrak dealer for over 35 years and the U.S. and Canada dealer for the Nikec suite of products, including Nikec Hubshare and The Digital Binder. With the company for 18 years, Ray has focused specifically on the legal vertical and is a trusted advisor to law firms on document scanning workflow and cost recovery solutions.

Jon Washburn was a speaker at the Anatomy of a Data Breach session. As Stoel Rives' Information Security Officer, Jon works directly with the COO and Firm Counsel to manage the firm's information governance (IG) and security program. He is also a resource for the firm's privacy & data security practice, assisting the team with performing risk assessments, evaluating information systems architecture and security controls, and identifying IG process improvements.
