Description
You are invited to join in a planning session to map out the activities of the group during 2020.
We are delighted to announce that Prof. Rachael Mulheron has agreed to be our guest speaker at our first event, a half-day session on the afternoon/evening on 1 April 2020. Professor Mulheron is the independent assessor of the eDisclosure Pilot and will be able to share the key points of her first feedback report to the Disclosure working party at our event. A flexible agenda is listed below:
- 40 – 60 minutes - training session on using the ILTA edisclosure exchange protocol
- Networking break
- Keynote delivered by Prof. Mulheron
- Drinks and nibbles
As we are undecided on the format of the professor's session, proposed options include a presentation from her, then a Q&A session on stage where we could ask for responses on pre-submitted questions from members.
Nuix has kindly agreed to sponsor the event, and we need to start thinking about a venue for a large crowd. Possible timings for the event are:
- Registration 4:00 - 4:30 PM
- Exchange workshop, including questions 4:40 – 5:30 PM
- Networking break
- Second registration for the keynote 5:30 – 6:00 PM
- Keynote session followed by Q&A 6:00 – 7:00 or 7:30 PM
- Drinks and networking 7:30 – 8:30 or 9:00 PM
Also, Andrew Haslam is stepping back from his full-time role at Squire Patton Boggs at the end of March. We are looking for someone to take on the leadership of the SIG. If you or anyone you know would be interested in the role, please come to the January meeting, or pass on the information to the group.
