ILTACON 2019 Wrap Up

Monday Keynote Session

Harnessing Innovation: Turning Raw Ideas Into Powerful Results presented by Josh Linkner

Josh Linkner, innovation expert and five-time tech entrepreneur, taught ILTACON attendees about the five creative mindsets to have in life and in our careers. "Commit to being the source of disruption instead of having it be thrust on you," Linkner said at the beginning of his speech. He went on to talk more about creativity, breaking the rules, seeking the unexpected and getting back up after failures.

His five mindsets are:

  • Every barrier can be penetrated
  • Video killed the radio star
  • Break the rules to get the jewels
  • Seek the unexpected
  • Fall seven times, stand eight

“Embrace our secondary role as a disruptor, innovator, artist. Everyone at every organizational level can do a “judo flip” and be a source of disruption.” - Josh Littlefield, IS Operations/Project Manager at Fennemore Craig.

“It was an amazing time! Josh Linkner is so great and knew how to get us involved.” - Mariana Figueiredo, Lawyer, Rocha, Marinho e Sales Advogados
