As the Firm's first Chief Knowledge & Innovation Officer, Mr. Benamram provides Simpson Thacher & Bartlett strategic direction on knowledge management, innovation, and legal technology. He leads the Knowledge Department in developing and implementing systems and processes that enable the Firm to share its collective knowledge.
Mr. Benamram is a globally recognized thought leader and a frequent speaker on legal technology and knowledge management subjects. He has won numerous awards for his design and development of several intranet and search systems at White & Case and Morrison & Foerster.
Prior to joining Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in March 2020, Mr. Benamram was the first Chief Knowledge Officer at White & Case; the Director of Knowledge Management, Head of the Israel Desk, and practicing lawyer at Morrison & Foerster; a practicing lawyer at Fulbright & Jaworski and Danziger, Klagsbald & Co.; and he clerked for the Honorable Justice Mishael Cheshin of the Supreme Court of Israel.
Mr. Benamram received his BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University Faculty of Social Sciences, magna cum laude, and his LLB from the Tel Aviv University Law School in 1995. Mr. Benamram was also a Major in the Israel Defense Forces, where he served as a Tank Company Commander.
