2018 Blockchain Conferences

Is 2018 the year you have decided to get out of your office (and possibly city) to attend one of the many blockchain conferences? Good news for you is that there are a number of conferences to choose from. In this post, we’ll examine a few of them for you.  It is likely too late to attend the first one, but it is worth a mention for you to keep an eye on for 2019.

DC Blockchain Summit

Why:  Those who are interested in the intersection of blockchain technology and government will want to attend. The Summit will feature global thought leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss key market developments, including initial coin offerings, bitcoin futures and ETFs, trading and investing in cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, legislative and regulatory trends, and more.

Token Fest

When:  March 15-16

Where:  San Francisco (USA)

Why:  With over 700 senior level thought leaders, you have an opportunity to network with leaders and business professionals in blockchain based enterprises. Topics include enterprise blockchain solutions, cryptoeconomic strategy, token analysis, smart token technology, tokenized revenue models, Internet of money, and many more.

Blockchain Expo Europe

When:  June 27-28

Where:  Amsterdam (the Netherlands)

Why:  This is Europe’s biggest blockchain conference with more than 6,000 attendees. Presented in a series of top-level keynotes, interactive panel discussions and solution-based case studies with a focus on learning and building partnerships in the emerging Blockchain space, Blockchain Expo will explore the industries that are set to be disrupted the most by this new technology, including;  manufacturing, retail, financial services, legal, healthcare, insurance, energy, music, government, real estate and more.

Blockchain Expo North America

Why:  Like Blockchain Expo Europe, there are 6000+ attendees.  The format is the same as its European Expo.

So, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and network in the blockchain space. And these are simply a few of the many that are being held across the globe.
