ILTA Head of Finance Wins Two Prestigious Accounting Awards

ILTA is pleased to share the news of Elizabeth Pittelkow Kittner, CPA.CITP, CGMA, DTM, ILTA Head of Finance, being named as one of the 2019 Most Powerful Women in Accounting and as the 2019 recipient of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Outstanding Young CPA Award.

The American Institute of CPAs and CPA Practice Advisor partner annually to honor 25 women leaders with the Most Powerful Women in Accounting Award. They are seen as women who are helping define and advance the CPA profession.

The AICPA Outstanding Young CPA Award is given in honor of Maximo Mukelabai each year to recognize CPAs who advance the profession while volunteering and participating in community-based organizations that improve lives.

“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by my peers in accounting,” says Kittner. “It is an incredible profession, and we have the ability to elevate our organizations and communities! I encourage all professionals to be intentional about volunteer efforts.”

Kittner joined ILTA’s professional staff in 2019, after working in public accounting as an auditor, and then working for two software companies leading and developing their accounting teams and processes.

“We are proud of Elizabeth's accomplishments and delighted to have her as part of ILTA's staff!” said Joy Heath Rush, ILTA CEO.
