Print to OneNote from Other Applications

1. From your desired application (i.e. Word)
2. From the Ribbon, [click] File and Print.
3. [Select] Send To OneNote 2010 in the Print category [and] click Print.
4. [Select] Location from the Select Location in OneNote display 
5. [Click] OK.
6. The page(s) are sent to OneNote.

Note: If you print to OneNote from the Web page, OneNote will copy the text as well as keep any hypertext links into a new page of your Unfiled Notes section.

1. Right-click on your image ( picture, a file printout image, screen clipping, scanned business card, or any other type of image).
2. Select Make Text in Image Searchable from the context menu. 
3. The text in now searchable and can be found when performing a search.
