Windows Key Shortcuts
(below the W = Windows key)
W = opens and closes Start menu
W+ Ctrl + Tab = advance through windows using the Aero Flip 3D
W + Tab = advance through open windows
W+ Up Arrow = maximizes the active window
W + Down arrow = minimizes/restores the active window
W+ Home = Minimizes all but the active window
W + (+/-) = Zooms in/out; opens magnifier
W+ E = Opens Windows Explorer
W + F = Starts a Windows search dialog box
W + L = Locks screen (instead of doing Ctrl+Alt+Del, Lock )
W + M = minimizes all open windows (ÿ + D does the same)
W+ Shift+M = Restores all open windows
W + N = Opens an untitled page in OneNote
W + P = Starts the monitor options (for projector, dual monitors, etc.)
W + R = Starts a Start/Run command
W+ S = Starts a "Snip It" screen
W+ T = scrolls through items on your taskbar
W+ U = opens up Control Panel/Ease of Access Center
This really helps with Windows 8 and higher
