For our community members with a digest or no email subscription for the community discussions - this one is for you!
We now have a functionality called participation emails. You'll be notified via email any time someone replies to one of your threads or comments, ensuring you're immediately aware of the latest responses.
To prevent duplicate notifications in your inbox, you won't receive participation emails if you're already receiving real-time notifications for a community.
In addition - if you haven't participated in the thread but want to be notified when new responses are added to a thread you are interested in (follow a thread), you can manually enable participation emails for a specific thread. From your digest email or on the website, navigate to the thread and click the star icon next to the subject line.
You may later click the star again to unsubscribe from this thread at any time.
If you’ve opted to follow a thread but don’t seem to be getting the emails - make sure you haven’t opted out of participation emails. From your Profile page - under the My Account tab - select Email Preferences and make sure Participation Emails option is set to Yes
