iPhone - Easily Fixing Typos in Messages
I learned about this tip a few months back and it has been life changing.
Trying to use my fat fingers to click in the little print to edit incorrect words is challenging and backspacing to just fix the capitalization/mistyped words is just plain annoying.
So . . . without further ado . . . the next time you need to edit a message (before sending):
- Hold down the space bar on the keypad and wait for the keys to go blank (see screenshot below).
- Then (without releasing the hold on the pad) move your finger up / down / left / right on the blank keypad area to move the I-bar cursor to the correct spot.
- Release and then make your edit.
- Repeat until you have fixed all of your typos.
