Time has flown and another successful Legaltech for ILTA is in the books. From January 28th- 31st, members of ILTA’s professional staff attended the 14th annual Legaltech in New York City to meet with ILTAns, potential ILTAns, and to deliver content as an Educational Partner.

The three ILTA Educational Track sessions were well attended, and it was a great opportunity to provide CLE accredited sessions with our ILTA members and business partners as speakers. A few takeaways from the sessions are as follows:

  • - Seek or create case studies of successes/failures, noting that it can be done differently

After the first day of sessions and networking, we gathered together at Tanner Smith’s for an evening of networking and socializing. With more than 150 attendees, the ILTA Social was packed with smiling ILTAns -- some wearing their Ascend jackets -- ready for a reunion and reception for new and potential members. Thank you to the following amazing sponsors for supporting this event: Blackberry, Clio, iManage, Logikcull, Tikit, and Traveling Coaches.

The ILTA Booth had high traffic throughout the conference with members and business partners stopping by to say hello and talk with staff. They shared their excitement to attend the event and the educational sessions, ILTACON, and more!

We also had a number of potential members stop by to learn about ILTA and the prospects of reaching the Netherlands, Finland, and Hong Kong. The week was also packed with discussions with industry press learning about ILTA’s trajectory and and business partner happenings.

We can’t wait for the next Legaltech! What were your favorite takeaways from the event?
